Friendly warning[edit]
Hello A1Cafel. The complete content of this Flickr album has just been uploaded on Commons with the Upload Wizard. Please, do not upload it again with Flickr2Commons. We have had our problems in the past with duplicates. Have a nice day, Edelseider (talk) 07:48, 16 September 2023 (UTC)
G20 is not a one day event.[edit]
Hi, the G20 presidency is not a single day event so moving images like File:G20 Foreign Ministers Meetings - New Delhi 2023 - 000111583.jpg out of Category:2023 G20 New Delhi summit and into Category:G20 is, while strictly accurate, also removing context. The source link states "Minister Penny Wong Bilateral Meeting with Canadian Foreign Minister the Hon Melanie Joly at the G20 in New Delhi".
Note that there are other categories like Category:2017 G-20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Bonn, Category:2018 G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Buenos Aires, and Category:2018 G20 Trade and Investment Working Group in Buenos Aires and a similar one would've been better.
I've created a Category:2023 G-20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in New Delhi and moved the files there. // sikander { talk } 🦖 16:47, 18 September 2023 (UTC)
Commons:Deletion requests/File:Tallinn Folklore of Estonia in2015 (4).jpg[edit]
Bonjour A1Cafel, Please where is the panorama in File:Tallinn Folklore of Estonia in2015 (4).jpg? This is the Troika brand which is a Russian restaurant and tavern look at Restaurants in Tallinn. Regard Pierre André (talk) 10:07, 19 September 2023 (UTC)
- The figure is creative enough to be protected by copyright. Due to lack of FOP in Estonia, permission from the creator is required. --A1Cafel (talk) 10:27, 19 September 2023 (UTC)
Wrong licenses added to files[edit]
You put the license PD US NAVY instead of the accurate license- PD-USGov-Military (which indicates that it is by the "Department of Defense"). The photographer is Navy personnel, however, he is assigned to the Secretary of Defense at The Pentagon (Department of Defense).
This is not a US Navy photo. The photo license belongs to the organization to which the photographer is working, which is the Department of Defense, not the US Navy.
Please, change the license on this file and the others.
Thank you, -- Ooligan (talk) 06:37, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for fixing the above 23 files.
- Please, as a courtesy, reply here when you finish fixing your license changes in the future.
- There are 47 more files that need the same license fix as above.
- They are found exactly between timestamp 05:13 to 05:14 -

- This was removed by A1Cafel with the summary "Doing by an admin". I'm not sure what this means, but I'm restoring it. A response, including an explanation on why these files were uploaded, what action you have taken (if any) to clean up, and why you chose to remove this section, would be appreciated. —Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 15:55, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
- I thought he is asking someone to tag and deal with the duplicates. I saw some admins are already doing it, so there is no need to mention others. Those files are a set of a conference called "Supporting Syria Conference", I have checked some and they do not appear on Commons, but probably a few were missed. Help in adding Kazakh FOP category[edit]
Hello. I'm requesting your help to add Category:Kazakhstani FOP cases/pending to the nominations made by KazyKazyKazakhstan (see here). The user does not seem to notice (or ignores) my message of adding that category to the FOP deletion requests the user made. There are too many deletion requests made by this user, and I cannot categorize them all due to personal / real-life reasons. Thanks. JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 05:35, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

Category Tate Modern[edit]
Hi A1Cafel, I have noticed you were rather involved in deletions and I found some like File:London - Tate Britain Turner Prize 2016 (3).jpg in the category Tate Modern with which I am not sure what to do. Delete them or not? It is allowed to have them if they were permanently exhibited in a public place I believe, but I do not know if they are permanently or only temporarily in the Tate Modern. Maybe you can have a look at it. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 11:24, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Paradise Chronicle: Seems it is an exhibition from 27 September 2016 until 2 January 2017. --A1Cafel (talk) 13:48, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks, I have nominated now one file for deletion, lets see what others believe is correct. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 07:33, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
Help in adding categories[edit]
Hello again. I'm requesting again your help in categorizing DRs by KazyKazyKazakhstan, by adding relevant categories based on the nominated works' countries: see here again. Due to busy college schedule now, I cannot categorize the DRs. Also, while that user categorizes some, those were categorized through HotCat and not manually, therefore lacking "noinclude" tags and collaterally categorizing the daily listing. Regards, JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 04:27, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- @JWilz12345: Done. --A1Cafel (talk) 05:19, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
